Through the years, Jane has learned the true value of incorporating moments of Selah into her life. Selah is not just a word, it is a posture. Why is Selah so important?

We live in a world that rarely pauses. The noise is constant. Opinions are loud. Cultural shifts move faster than many of us can process. In the middle of it all, people are asking deeper questions about truth, purpose, faith, and hope.

Selah & Psalms was created as a place to slow down and listen AND is a sub-ministry of Revive The Fire Ministries.

In the Bible, the word Selah appears throughout the Psalms as a moment to pause, reflect, and consider the weight of what has been said. It invites the reader to stop rushing and allow God’s truth to sink into the heart.

That is the spirit of this site.

Here we explore the issues shaping our culture ultimately require questions about faith, suffering, identity, truth, and hope. Through the timeless wisdom of Scripture we can find answers today. Rather than reacting to the noise of the world, we step back and look through the lens of God’s Word.

The Psalms remind us that every human emotion has a place before God. Joy, grief, confusion, anger, worship, and hope are all found in their pages. They show us that faith is not the absence of struggle, it is learning to bring every struggle to the Lord.

Our goal is simple:

To offer biblical clarity in confusing times
To encourage honest reflection and spiritual renewal
And to remind readers that God is still speaking, still working, and still offering hope.
